Matisse Marathon 31-Hour Closing Celebration

Saturday, April 28, 10:00 a.m.–Sunday, April 29, 5:00 p.m.
Dallas Museum of Art and Nasher Sculpture Center

Special $10 joint exhibition admission from midnight to 9:00 a.m.

The DMA and the Nasher will remain open for thirty-one continuous hours to celebrate the final weekend of the exhibition. Enjoy concerts, films, dance performances, family activities, and more. After hours, don’t miss DJs, moonlight strolls through the gardens, and sunrise events.

Henri Matisse: Figure, Color, Space (2006), film by Edith Jud of a Matisse exhibition at Fondation Beyeler (March 18–July 9, 2006) narrated in Matisse’s own words with music by J. S. Bach (33 minutes)

Henri Matisse (1946), documentary film by François Campaux that includes an interview with Matisse, a look at the 1945 Salon d’Automne, and footage of the artist sketching and painting in his studio (23 minutes)
